What a wonderful time had by all who exhibited and attended the 27th Annual Family Fun and Disabilities Awareness Fair put on by the Milford Family and Community Network at the Milford High School cafeteria on March 15, 2025. The Milford Lions were pleased to be able to attend this great event with the Sight Mobile.
The Lions Club District 33A Sight Mobile was proudly displayed at the cafeteria entrance and folks of all ages stopped by for a free eye exam. We were fortunate to have a registered nurse, Sandra Larson Gray supporting this effort along with many trained Lions members.
The Milford Lions club also had a table set up with free raffle prizes of candy/treat baskets provided by our friends at Sweet Inspirations in Milford. We set up a photo booth with fun props for those memorable family pictures that was quite busy. The “Cookin’ with the Milford Lions” Cookbook and Scratch Ticket Raffle were also made available for folks to purchase.
This event was attended by many families with lots of children enjoying the many varied activities and food provided by local vendors. We look forward to participating in next year’s event and hope to see even more participants in the future.
